1.Llamas and their relatives are no strangers to our land. Llamas are members of the camel family, which at one time thrived on the plains of North America. With the Ice Age, llamas became extinct in North America.
2.Its cousin, the camel , relocated to the Middle East and other regions of the world.
3.Llamas are willing pack animals but only to a point. An overloaded llama will simply refuse to move. These animals often lie down on the ground and they may spit, hiss, or even kick at their owners until their burden is lessened.
